The Environment

Keeping a helicopter aloft obviously uses fuel and has an associated carbon footprint. All helicopters are maintained to strict standards laid down by the aircraft manufacturer and enforced by the Civil Aviation Authority. To a large extent these standards ensure that they are as fuel efficient as possible as no operator wants to be paying for fuel to be wasted. Our flights are operated as safely and expeditiously as possible to minimise fuel burn.

HeliFly has investigated many of the carbon offsetting schemes currently running, however, many of these have been discredited and as such HeliFly have not yet incorporated them into their product offerings.

Should customers wish to offset their carbon emissions HeliFly can provide details of the fuel burnt on their flight.
