Not inspired by our standard tours? Well why not come up with one of your own!
Here at HeliFly we've put together hundreds of flights for people who wanted something different. We've flown between various towns in Sussex tracing out a family's property moves over the years. We've visited the favourite countryside of an elderly couple who could no longer make it on foot. We've even picked up someone who thought they had parked up to look at the view when all of a sudden a helicopter turned up!
The possibilities are endless (but we will need a suitably large area to make a safe approach / departure, the landowners permission and the landing site can't be in a built up area).
Complete the Custom Tour Form below with your ideas and we'll see what's possible.
All flights are subject to HeliFly's Conditions of Carriage and vouchers are subject to our Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions.
Yesterday I had a flying lesson on a Robinson R44 helicopter, something I had wanted to try for a long time. I reported to Shoreham / Brighton airport and met my instructor John Davies. He explained things in a very easy to understand way and then we were off. We flew towards Brighton over the beaches. The weather was kind and visibility was good, so good we could see the Isle of Wight in the distance. John let me have some experience of the flight controls and after I relaxed I found it not to difficult to fly reasonably level and in the correct direction/ish. Hovering was something requiring some practice but John soon took control again and I had another try. Mmmm, lots of practise needed, I think. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and recommend you try a flight with John, a man of great skill and limitless patience as helicopters are not the easiest thing to get used to. If you can, have a go, it's great fun and quite an achievement if you can do it. Thank you John, I will come back for another flight lesson soon.
